I'm tempted to say that most of us have information that wouldn't be the remotest bit interesting to anyone outside of our own families, but then of course I started thinking about all those events that I've marked "Private," and that yes I suppose I have several things I'd like to remain private. I'm not paranoid, but I believe if you want true privacy, then only User based encryption software will do it for you, and no I don't use or need such a feature. Having said that, quite some years ago I did ask the legacy folks if it might be possible to have encryption available for some Events, rather than relying on the tick to make it private, or the Open and closed [ ] brackets; My argument then was that people can still open the file and read the contents. I've not used the Legacy Cloud feature, favouring instead to use my own Google Drive backup routine that has been working well for several years, so I'm content to combine that with a couple of other backups and settle with that. Then of course if a foreign government wanted your information and had the resources to tackle that task, what could we as average folks actually do about it ?
