Hi Margaret, I, too, am (was) getting the error that the Hints had stopped working. This was getting very annoying. I ignored the message for a time then Legacy really locked up. The solution was to delete the hints file, but that doesn’t change the fact that it keeps happening.
I am tempted to turn the Hints off.
