First what setting do you have at Options - Customise 6.2? This should show your Genealogy Pictures folder. So set that first and Save. That way you won't get the dialogue when you add a picture asking whether you want to copy the media to your default media folder.

Then, go back to Options - Customise 6.2, click the View Current List of Media Folders and use the Change button to make sure each entry is pointing to the Right folder.

If all your media really is in that one folder and you change each entry in the Media Folder list to point to it, the Media Relinker (or the Test all Media Folders button at 6.2) should say you have no broken links.

All my backups and pdf files are going where I want them, I am now having
trouble with media.  I have all my media in a folder named genealogy
pictures on my desktop. Any new ones I scan or download are going correctly there.  Now when I have a missing one, relink my data does not pick them up.
On current list of media folders, it show default and genealogy pictures.
Test all gives 18 pictures missing. But when I print the list out, it has
been checking \Documents\Legacy Family Tree\Data\file name. So I deleted the default folder, and now it shows 87 missing pictures.  When I run relink it shows all 100% completed. When I select browse for the picture, it does not
stay put.
What can I do ?
