I am not sure why this would happen. I just did several tests sharing
both added events and vital events and my name list always opened with
the "owner" selected. I even added an unlinked person to see if someone
with no parents, spouses or children would open at the top of the list
but even then the "owner" was selected in the name list.
I also tested sharing an event as I was entering a new event for a
person but that also opened the name list with the event owner selected.
