I've not heard of that happening before.
Have you done File - File Maintenance - Check/Repair on your family file?
It may be that it's getting stuck with the unlinking changing the
preferred spouse.
You sound as if this is happening repeatedly.
Have you managed to complete the unlinking so that he's only married the
right amount of times?

person twice or to unknowns that didn't exist.
