Either way go to Tools - Set Relationship and make sure the starting person is the one you want.
Then you can use Reports - Other Reports - Relationship Report to get your list. Note this report can be saved as a CSV and therefore opened in a spreadsheet program and sorted by relationship there eg to bring all 3rd cousins 1 removed together in the list.
