Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Looking for Ideas for Event Name - Before Marriage

Presently I have 14 user defined events pertaining to Marriage such as
Marriage Bans, Marriage License, Marriage Certificate, Marriage Official,
etc. I try to set up Events that have documents or images associated with
them as event photos/images print with various books and reports.

In the case of your marriage ring, proposal, engagement, etc., there are
several possibilities that come to mind. In older times, engagement photos
were quite common but finding them among family heirlooms may not happen.
Into more modern time, newspapers often published engagement notices with
photos.

>From your post I get the impression that there might be some interesting
story or facts surrounding the marriage ring and/or proposal in question. If
so, I would create an event called Marriage Proposal, write the full story
in MS Word (or your favorite word processor), then attach the document to
the Marriage Proposal event. You could add images to the document or simply
attached the separately in the event.

Just a suggestion

I would like to set up an event for to cover dates when a couple met, he
proposed, he presented the engagemet ring and the couple announced their
engagement. Looking for suggestions for a suitable "Event Name" I can use.
