I actually record the number twice.  Once in Events and once in the FAG
place.  Like you I also started recording long before the FAG field was
added.  Now that the field is there if you By chance happen to duplicate a
FAG number , the "File Maintenance" tool deletes the duplicates  and so
they cannot be easily found to repair the error.    So I created an event
and in it mark the FAG number and grave Location
I have sent in a request to make the entry of duplicate FAG numbers
impossible,  but nothing but a nod so far,  and its been a year or two.
