Marie,

Legacy 9 handles sources the same as Legacy 8.

The change in this build is just behind the scenes as some sources weren't showing properly in the FamilySearch Integration module and so weren't available for transfer.

It doesn't affect how you see, enter and use your sources in the rest of Legacy regardless of whether you use the Basic System (which I think is what you mean by writing your own) or the SourceWriter. I use both Basic and SourceWriter sources.

If you looked at the Access table you'd see there is at least one column that shows the source as it will print/for output. This is mainly to aid output of the SourceWriter style sources. As I understand it, for some reason this wasn't being fully populated in some cases. The new Source Check fixes it.

What happens if you write your own sources?  I still use 8 since I don't have a tree online. I started to use Leagcy long before it offered "Source Writer" and hesitate to make the jump to 9.
