I imagine many other members will explain it better than I can; when a file is exported to gedcom the media files are not exported with it. Your cousin would have to send them in a separate file, once you have imported the gedcom file in to Legacy you would then have to tell your Legacy file where to look for the photo file - I believe you would have to do a re-link or Find my Media. That is a brief outline whilst you are waiting for a more detailed and complex explanation. All the best. Marion
