Cindy,
Legacy does have plans for a feature that will allow you to sync between
the Legacy data on your computer and an online MyHertiage tree. this
will probably be much like you used to be able to sync your FTM data
with data in an online tree at Ancestry.com. From previous posts that
interface will not come until the next major issue of Legacy (Legacy
10.0). There is no forecast of when that update will be made available.
I know nothing for certain but I am pretty sure that in order to take
full advantage of the sync feature you will need a paid subscription to
MyHeritage. The pricing of that subscription and the access provided
will not be known until the feature is implemented. They could, for
example, implement a lower priced subscription which only allows you to
create and sync your trees but not give any access to the MyHeritage
records.
They have a variety of plans now but their free plan only allows 250
people in a tree, $169/year allows 2500 people and $269/year allows
unlimited. They have a Data only plan for $249/year which allows access
to records but only a 250 person tree and an Ultimate package at
$389/year which combines the unlimited tree and unlimited record access.
Here is the site for their plans and prices:

I hate to admit that I'm in the dark here, but I am in the dark here.
I'm a very long-time user but another admission is that I loved
syncing between FTM (at Ancestry) and Legacy. This way files could
remain synced. However, we all know what happened with FTM and I got
so frustrated that I stopped genealogy with Legacy for a while. It's
just that Legacy is something I will always come back to because it
does everything so much better!
Now, I understand that MyHeritage bought Millennia Corporation and has
plans for Legacy users, but does that require a separate subscription?
I read a List message that mentions syncing files with My Heritage and
I see these updates about the servers. Are we able to back it up to
MyHeritage? How do I set that up or do I need to ask MyHeritage about
it? I've tried searching and I only found their blog post about the
acquisition.
Sorry to be a nuisance with such questions.

UPDATE on the new server and Hints (21 May 2019, 12:05 pm ET)
1) Last Friday MyHeritage let us know that the new server is in place BUT it
will take them some time to get it programmed and then to move everything
over. Progress! Until then, make sure you are backing up your file in the
"normal" way. If you need to download Legacy 9 you can use this direct link
http://downloads.familytreewebinars.com/misc/Legacy9Setup.exe
2) The beta testers have been working with the programmer that does all of
the Hints stuff and there has been progress there as well. He sent the beta
testers some replacement files with fixes in it and they are evaluating them
(they still need tweaking). However, we can't issue an update to Legacy
until the server is back online because that is the server where the
developers create the builds and then issue the updates. Progress!
