Thank you for the answer, Kelly. But I am confused about how the rules
are.

>From my first letter:

Andreas Søli (Nils A. 67, Andreas 37, Hans Olsen 16, Ole Hansen 3, Hans
Olsen 1)

I add the same line with the surnames added, underscored;

Andreas Søli (Nils A. Søli 67, Andreas Hansen 37, Hans Olsen Melfald 16,
Ole Hansen Rugstad 3, Hans Olsen Rugstad 1)

But the descendants from Johanne are listed like this:

xxx Andersen (xxx Andersen 77, Marie Johanne Haraldsen Blekeli 38, Hans
Haraldsen 21, Johanne Hansdtr Rugstad 5, Hans Olsen 1)

And descendants from Johanne's sister Kirsten Marie:

xxxx Øvrum (xxx Øvrum 83, Oluf Elias Øvrum 45, Christian Olsen Øvrum 24,
Berthe Marie Andersdtr Skjelbred 11, Kirsten Marie Hansdtr Rugstad 2,
Hans Olsen 1).

It seems like the rules are different for Hans Olsen's son and his
daughters.

Andreas Søli
