Unless you've done a clean uninstall your Legacy9.lic file will still be
in ...\Documents\Legacy Family Tree\_AppData\ folder
Download the free standard version of Legacy and install it. You may
need to disable your security software during the installation. Some
security software is more aggressive than others. Some will block until
they see that all is well after a number of other people have clicked
through their warnings and got them to do a proper check.
If you get a Windows screen saying Windows protected your PC click the
More Info link and then the Run Anyway button.

I received the notice about upgrading ASAP, but Legacy 9 Deluxe won't
open! Downloading again would meaning paying again because I have no
way to find my ID number!
