Trevor,
I transcribe all my documents into the "General" section of Legacy under
Notes.  I can still refer to the originals, no matter if I found them
online and downloaded them, or if I actually went to the courthouse and
copied the items related to my family.  By having a full transcription in
"General" I can look in one location under each family member and know
exactly what I have.  Then when I print out family group sheets or even a
book report, all the documentation that I transcribed is included as long
as you choose the option to include them under "Report Options".  The same
goes for "Research" notes and "Medical" notes.
