I don't know whether the Legacy Cloud is down or whether it
depends on the quality of the internet in your area.
The Legacy Cloud backup is only meant as an extra data backup.
Uncheck that bit and do your major local backups normally.
I backup to a Dropbox folder so have a local and cloud backup
with the same operation. This way all my recent backups are in
the cloud.
I don't use the Media backup as I keep that in a Dropbox
folder anyway.
I backup my Dropbox folder and all other computer data to
different external drives regularly. One drive is updated on
Mondays, another on Thursdays and another on the 1st of each
month.
