Actually those settings make the report more like the books a publisher will produce. The Odd pages are on the right when reading a bound book and publishers start major sections like the TOC, new Chapters, Indexes, Source listings etc on an Odd page so they will start on a right side page as you read.

If you wanted to send the report to a commercial printer you will want to reset those options. For normal printing on single sided pages they do waste paper.

BRIAN, YOU DUN IT AGAIN!   Thanks, that was very obvious, I don't know why I put up with it for years.

Thanks again,

What are your settings for new generations on the page layout tab?
Starting a new generation on a new page and forcing that to be an odd
page number will add blank pages between generations if one generation
ends on an odd page the even numbered page will be blank and the next
generation will start on an odd numbered page.

Indexes and tables of contents may have a blank page preceding them if
you have start on an odd page options turned on for those as well.
