I think the only way to see the template numbers in Legacy is in the Master Source List to pull the left line to the right to uncover the column.

If you want to use the same template for something else, click to Edit the Master Source and read the breadcrumb trail at the top and follow it again OR just edit that Master Source and choose to Save as a New copy. When you click the Save button you get the choice to update the current master source or to save as a new source.

I create most of my new sources this way. Don't forget to change all relevant fields and especially the Source List Name.  It's a handy way to create a new source as you can use some of the source you are editing - eg repository.  Beware, if you add media to Master Sources. Don't change the media when creating the new source. Go back and edit it after creation. If you do it all in one step you are actually changing the media for the original Master Source. Media is linked differently and the media link is saved straight away to the open Master Source.

I have noticed that there is a "Template" numbers assigned to a master source.  How do you find a template number and the associated source within Legacy 9.  Is there a "master list" somewhere within a file in the program.  An individual is using a source that I would also like to use but the only "identifying" information is that it has a "Template ID 1475."

Thanks in advance for information.
