What file format is the questionnaire? I am a bit suspicious that copy & paste did not work if you are supposed to be able to drag and drop, but presuming drag & drop is possible, you could use split screen to view the Gedcom and the questionnaire together. (Open one, resize to half the screen, open the other and resize that so you can see both.)
