Fran,
It's necessary to use Tools > Set Relationships after adding, deleting, merging, unlinking, relinking people in your database.  When I'm entering data I use it at least once a day.

It sounds like either you haven't got View > Show 1/2 kids on - from the right click menu in the child area of Family View OR that you want the children attached to multiple sets of parents.

Also as part of your file maintenance, don't forget to backup and then use File > File Maintenance > Check/Repair regularly - depends how much data entry you do. Regularly at least once a month if you don't use Legacy a lot, every week if you enter data every day.

I had added several kids to a couple. Later I realized that this
couple had each been married to another person & had children with
them. I moved kids to the correct parents but now all the kids are not
showing up under all the couples.

Legacy keeps telling me that I need to re-set relationships but I
don't know how to do this. Do I need to delete and start all over again?

Thanks, Fran
