You need to become familiar with the various reports before you try
combining them in the Publishing Centre.
Legacy provides a myriad of options for each report, including, for some
reports, a number of different numbering systems. Someone else can't
really tell you which to use. Experiment with just 2 or 3 generations
and see what you prefer.
Non-genealogists usually find a Descendant Narrative book easier to
follow than a Descendant Book but people differ. In a Descendant Book,
it is arranged by generation and the link between the generations is the
number assigned to each person when they are first listed in Child List.
The Descendant Narrative book is ordered by family and you can use the
numbering system to find the next child in the original family. There
entry may be pages away if the previous child had a lot of descendants.

I am ready to create a printed Family Tree Book but I am overwhelmed
and unsure how to use Legacy 9
to build a comprehensive Book that includes Descendant Reports (what
is the simplest generation numbering
to use to simplify following descendants thru generations?), Family
Group sheets, Citations, Charats, etc.
Are there webinar tutorials that explain how to organize, select and
build a book for publishing? Are there samples
that I could review to decide how to organize my book?
