Download the free standard version from the Legacy website.
Then install on your new computer and use your customer number to unlock the Deluxe features.

Then you need to copy your data. If you plan to use both computers you have to decide how you are going to keep the database in sync.

There are various options:
1. You can keep both your working database and your media in one of the cloud syncing services like Dropbox or OneDrive or GoogleDrive.  If you do this you must make sure the sync is allowed to finish after closing Legacy on one computer before waiting for the sync to finish on the other computer before opening Legacy on it. 2. you can keep your working file and media on a flash drive/thumb drive and move that to the other computer. If you use this method, a) make sure you always open the file that is on the flash drive and b) make sure that small flash drive is always backed up elsewhere - preferably more than one other place, including the hard drives of both computers as a) they're easy to lose and b) when they fail it's very difficult to recover data from them. 3. you can make or transfer backups to an external drive and then restore them on the other computer. This is easily done for the data backup - media backups are trickier to restore and you probably don't want to do that constantly.

Hi,

I am about to purchase a new Laptop computer.

I have Legacy 9.0.0.414 installed presently on my Desktop computer.

I need to install 9.0.0.414 on my new computer.

Can anyone give me a step by step procedure on how to do this?

Thanks in advance.
