Rick:
1. Just go into family view that has the father and mother with Child you want to unlink 2. Write down child info - name , b. Date so you can relink later 3. Right click on Child, and click Unlink - I would unlink from both parents. 4. Go to Family view where you want the Child to be part of the family 5. In child area, click Add a New Child & then Click Link an existing Son 6. Look up the son with the info you have from step 2 and link the son to the new family That's it! I now have the found the right father. Looking for a step by step guide for unlinking a child. I see how to unlink a child but it say from both mother and father. 1. Is there a way to just unlink from the father? 2. Is the unlinked child still available from the name list or does he go somewhere else in Legacy? 3. How do I relink him with the correct father?
