I am running the 16th September Build Date and have a problem with the Descendent
Report.
If I request a report for up to 6 generations, everything is fine.
If I request a report for 7 or more generations then after a few moments a Window pops
up headed "Can't Run
Program" , containing the text:-
"The designated program file could not be found or was not an executable file. Please
use the Change button
to search for the program again."
The only Change button on the report window is 'Change Font', which is not relevant. I
cannot find another
Change button.
All other reports (Ancestor, Pedigree, Lineage, Timeline and both Ancestor and
Descendent Books) are OK for
all generations up to my maximum of 15.
I have tried different, independently assembled, family files and obtain the same
results.
If I request a Descendent Report for 7 or more generations but only 6 exist in the
file then the report is
produced OK.
Has anyone else come across this effect or can anyone suggest what might be wrong. I
have made no major
changes to my files recently - no imports or major additions - and I get this problem
with family files that
have not been changed for some months and were perfectly OK when last used. I have
only noticed this effect
since the 16th September update.
