I have two different types of "Master" Sources. One type would be a
source like a book which has a definite author, publisher, subject etc.
The other is a "General Master" Source. I use 1860 Census for instance
and then put the date and location and anything else in the source
notes. I would use "Birth Certificate" or "Deed Index" etc. exactly the
same way. Hope I am not confusing the issue. I love Legacy.
