I just checked it out again, and that is the answer.  Lance, the period does not
appear behind the "name" of the individual, but behind the identification of the
individual, as either a Husband. (alive) or a Husband  (dead), or a Wife. (alive)
or a Wife (dead).  The Identification on unmarried people is Male or Female, and
the same deal.

Nice to know.  There is a period after my Wife.  before my name.  <bg> God bless.
