I had the same problem when I went to upload a
newer version of my Family Tree.
What I found was that the original upload
contained a file that had the pictures so I did not bother to upload it again.
This did not work and I had to upload the picture file also. Make sure before
you upload again that you remove the existing one. From my limited efforts it
appears to read only one file and will not read a previous file. I could be
wrong but don't think so.

Hi,
I have created a Pedigree Web Site.....Last week I had it
working all the links, pictures, etc. I updated quite a few pages and
decided to create and upload the entire thing again. Now everything is
working but the links to the pictures. I have tried it three times,
but for some reason the " ~mcmanigle" part of the address for the pictures
is missing and will not show. I know I have probably forgotten a small
step somewhere along the line, but I can't seem to find it. You know
when you think you are doing everything the right way, you can't see what
you are doing wrong....That is where I am. If anyone can point me in
the right direction, I would appreciate it very much. Thank
you
