I'm having problems with the "Compare two files for duplicates" functionality. For example, individuals with the same name and baptism date in two different Legacy files were not flagged as duplicates when I selected the following options o 'Compare Surname using Exact Spelling' and 'Given Name for a Length of 5' o 'Check christening dates, Day range 365' and 'Include blank christening dates' and no other settings. However, if I actually import the second file into the first, and use the "merge duplicates" functionality, the two individuals are flagged as merge candidates when I use the same merge/comparison options.
