I left a paragraph out of my response to Jo about copying the contents of e-mail into a correspondence file. To follow-up, I use a free data manager called TreePad. It can be downloaded at http://www.treepad.com/ I set up each family name with a node for each person. Under the person, you can add as many sub-nodes as you want. I file each e-mail or document by the date and the name of my correspondent so it looks like "010823_Joe Smith". If I reply, I paste my response on the same page.
