I'll do my best to describe the following and I hope that perhaps somebody can help me fix the problem or at the very least join my club! *Smiles
I have an ancestor with 5 children. I double click on his parents and double click again for grandparents. (Can't honestly say this problem has anything to do how far I navigate just that I go up the tree and come back down) When I go back down the tree from the grandfather to the father the number of children that father has is only 3. The reference number of the individuals who still show up on both going up the tree or coming back down are the same. I had originally thought I somehow had some form of a duplication in my database. I have looked at the records of the individuals who don't re-appear and there's nothing I would consider unusual about them I have a few instances of this happening in my database. I have run all the File/Maintenance functions within Legacy as well as scan disk from Windows itself. I have run the Merge function and nothing related to these records is being flagged. I have posted this question to the Problem Submission page on the Legacy web site (twice) but have yet to hear anything from them, either in confirmation they have received my problem or suggestions on resolving it.
