I handle my newspaper articles the same way as you do for pretty much for the same reasons. I make the Newspaper the Repository and use the Repository over and over again.
For example, in the Source Info tab of an obit, I use: Source Name- Person's name-Obituary Type- Newspaper Author- Title- I put the exact title of the article. Publication Facts: (Newspaper name, date of article) I put the text of the article in the "Text of Source" tab. In the Repository tab, make the Newspaper the repository and enter their address, phone number and URL of their website if they have one. Rick -----Original Message----- Let's say I have MANY newspaper articles from a paper called Daily News. Some of these articles are rather lengthy, and give me MULTIPLE facts about a person (such as date of birth, date of death, occupation, what schools they attended, etc), and some of these articles give me facts about multiple people... ...On the other hand, if I treated EACH ARTICLE as a separate source, so that Daily News Oct 5 John Bain obituary was one source, and Daily News Jan 4 Birth Announcement was another source, then when I referred to the same article over and over again, I wouldn't have to bother with page numbers and dates. What do you think is the best way to do it and why?
