Hi Ole,

I have experienced problems when generating a Gedcom for someone who is using Family 
Tree
Maker... or should I say, they experience the problems.

When you select the export to GEDCOM option in Legacy, select the Generic choice from 
the
top box, the bottom will default to the correct format.

This has been the most consistent format that Family Tree Maker users can receive.
