Greetings.
I sent a message to Jim @ Millenia earlier today regarding this virus. I have several email accounts and I wound up getting a bunch of email from someone I don't even know on one of my Hotmail accounts that I use primarily for school, yet it was sent because the person was part of a email update list for a group of radio stations in Washington state called Positive Life Radio (PLR). Believe me, it affected everyone at PLR--and I just happen to know the general manager/afternoon drive host. THIS IS NOT GOOD.
Judging from what I have seen on our user group, it looks like it has affected us as well. The best way to deal with this is to just delete that message. Problem is, with as many people as there is on this user group, and the monitoring from Jim and everyone else @ Millenia, we don't know if it is a legitimate question/reply, slamming, or a virus. I guess the best way to handle this is to be very careful.
Hopefully someone can get to the bottom of this. I hate to see what it would actually do if someone opened the attachment on accident.
Have a great evening.
