You're using HTML, Willa. I can tell readily because I have Outlook set to read all Plain Text messages with a specific font & size that I doubt anyone sends with! If you'll note at the bottom of the "compose message" window where you type your message, there are a couple of radio buttons, one of them says "plain text". Be sure to click on that button.
Unfortunately most of the instructions given have been for Outlook or Outlook Express, which are of no help to someone using a web-based email! I have tried following the instructions to see what text I'm using, but I keep coming to dead ends.
