I just upgraded as they were relseased on the desktop.  I do not like XP at
all.  Much prefer Win98 but this laptop I'm using came with ME.  I'm
thinking of reformatting and installing Win98 once I find time to do a
proper back up of all my files and not just the few that I backup each day.

Actually, I found 98 froze less for me but then that was on the desktop and
I haven't used 98 on this laptop yet. I shall certainly make sure that I
have the latest video drivers once I revert back though.
