This applies also to the Netherlands. It not only applies to births and baptisms, also to marriages and burials and all sorts of events. 'Witnesses' are often essential in identifying people. I suppose one solution would be the ability to attach individuals to events. You must have the opportunity to name the relation between the event and the individual (be it a witness, neighbour or whatever you think is important to include in your file). This will also be of benefit for showing up in the Timeline of a certain individual, giving you clues about someone's age (someone was alive at this period because he/she was a godfather/mother at the baptism of this grandchild, etc.)
