Danny, All the programs you listed are excellent - according to what you want to do with genealogy and how you want to manage your data. I used TMG for years and, honestly, wouldn't have tried Legacy at all except that I bought a computer that would not run TMG. Once, I got over Legacy's learning curve, I knew I had found the best tool for my research needs. I still keep a copy of Family Origins and TMG because it is easier for me to fine tune data I send to others in my research ring who run these programs. The bottom line is to understand your needs and find the program that does the best job for you. That said, it'll probably be Legacy.
