Ken,
Legacy 3 has always been where I originally installed it - on both PCs. I
have never copied or moved the Legacy program folder from either PC. I have
not done any reinstallation, only updates to the same catalog. My database
files are in another location. I do include the .usr files in backup - but
not the program files as they can be reinstalled if the hard drive should
crash.

In my case installation of the program files are:
- Win2000: E:\Program Files\Legacy (Stationary)
I also log on as admin when doing program installation, etc.

- Win98: D:\Gen\Legacy (Laptop)

Add/Remove List

Sharon and Helen,

Just trying to figure out why it wouldn't have removed it from Add/Remove
Programs list.

Did either of you move/copy the Legacy 3 folder to a new drive after you
installed it. What I mean is if you installed Legacy 3 to your C: drive and
then later copied the C:\Legacy folder to your D: drive without uninstalling
and then reinstalling then the install of version 4.0 wouldn't think you
were installing to the same location.

Thanks
