It's possible that when Legacy closed when you closed the browser it
wasn't really closed! I've gotten that message in the past when I
accidentally tried to open a second instance of Legacy when the program
was already running. The way I "fixed" it was to bring up task list
with ctrl-alt-del and then closed Legacy from there.

The update from the web should close Legacy while the update is
occurring and then reopen the program when the update is done. I've not
seen the browser window open when I do the update. Try running it
without closing the browser.

You can always download the latest full build from the web and install
from there, if for some reason you need to reinstall or just download
the update "the old-fashioned way". The latest build date is 21 Mar 2002

BTW, which browser are you using?

Sherry
