Diane, I use the full Outlook program and not Outlook express, but I am sure it will be similar. If I get an email with an attachment, I can either highlight the email, then click File, Save Attachments and select the attachment or which ever attachment you wish to save, then follow the prompts. Saving to directories where you can easily find them later on is always a good idea. Alternatively, I can righ-click the attachment and select Save As... And once again, I am given the opportunity to save to a location as in the previous way. Your email program Help files will always tell you how to save attachments as well.
