I don't think that will work - sources attached to event notes simply attach 
to the main note.  For example, if you attach source 1 to the birthdate, 
then add source 2 to a birth note - when you look at the Assigned Sources 
window, you will just see Birth with source 1 and source 2 attached to it.  
What I mean is, your report will not show which specific part of the birth 
data each source applies to.

I think it has to do with your sourcing. It seems to me that Legacy falters
when you source information which isn't there (nothing in date and/or
location). If you've got other information on a birth I suppose you would 
have
to enter that in birth-notes (under the plus-sign) and source that.
