Pocket Genealogist is view only at the moment.  It does have a "Research
Note" facility (not to be confused with "Research Notes" in Legacy) that you
can enter data attached to a person, then sync it back to the desktop and
then either print or cut and past into Legacy.

A full data entry version is under development and is a free upgrade for
current users.  The current "Public Beta" (
http://www.northernhillssoftware.com/pgeniebeta.htm ) allows for entry of
Notes, Events and the ability to add individuals.   The data that you sync
back to the desktop can be exported to GEDCOM but eventually I hope to have
direct synchronization back into the Legacy database.   (Obviously a very
tricky process that will need a significant amount of testing)
