Thanks you for wanting to help us with testing. March 2002 we froze our
test list because we couldn't keep up with the messages. During the last
three months before version 4.0 was released we had over 8000 messages just
on the Beta Test list. We were spending more time reading messages than we
were programming so we decided at that time to freeze the test group. We
have had a few testers who have dropped off since then and we have often
thought we should invite some new people but that probably won't happen
until after the release of version 5.0 and at that time it may be those who
helped with the translations who we'll want to help us as testers. It's not
that you or others couldn't do a good job and help us build a better program
it's just that fact that it's just Dave and me who do all the programming
and if we allow the list to get any larger we fear we would be overloaded.
I hope you understand. I would like to say that we really appreciate all
of the great users on this list for all that you do to help others and to
help us. We read all of these messages and we may not always reply to many
of the messages we do see what's happening and we do feel this is a great
way for us to get ideas and to find problems.

Thanks
