Well that seems hypocritical now doesn't it?

You just said different fields are used differently by different people.
Then you said we shouldn't have don't a middle or nick because that is what
AKA is for.  But not everyone uses AKA to indicate nicknames.  I personally
only use the AKA field to indicate alternate spellings used on sources.
Things like Jack for John or Bill for William are obvious nicks that I put
into quotes.
