Robert and others, I've been thinking about the originally posed problem all day and even tested out a few ideas using Excel. Whilst it is possible to have automated Henry number generation you do need an accurate properly ordered family member list and I can't see how you can get this suitable from Legacy for importing into Excel. Has anyone considered using Charting Companion? The Register Report has the option to use (i.e. generate) Henry Numbers. You can only produce an RFT file but with minimal other information it could easily be used as a reference to populate the UserID numbers back in Legacy.
