I am trying to find out what is the best way for recording miscellaneous names in Legacy so that I can retrieve all instances where that name might appear.
An example could be a minister's name which may not be part of the family I am researching but his/her name may recur at different times and different events such as weddings and funerals. It seems to me that if I enter the name against each event for my family members I would need to search each event. The only other thought I had was to create an entry for that person and enter the info as a note
Has anyone got any ideas on this?
