I'm wondering where most people enter Norwegian farm names. Do most enter them as a surname or suffix title or in a custom event field? Is there any kind of standard for where they are entered? I'm thinking if they were entered into a separate field, it would make it easier to search or sort on both patronym and farm name, but in terms of web pages, it would be less cluttered to have the farm name as the surname. I would like to follow the standard if there is one. Anyone know? Suggestions and thoughts appreciated.
