Jerry,

Go to Options > Customize > Other and click on the Database Maintenance
button. On the Geo Location Database Setup window, there's a delete button
to delete the database. Do that and go through the steps to recreate the
database and import the files.

If you don't need the Geo immediately, you could wait until you get the CD -
the full file, all imported and compressed is on it - all you need to do is
copy it to the Legacy\Geo folder and then go back into the Geo Location
Database - Setup window and click on "Set" to set the path to the database.

Thanks for using Legacy.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Geo Location Database Porblems

Would like to ask support or anyone that knows of this problem how to get
the Geo files imported.
Have downloaded three Geo Location Database files for US, Asia and the
Americas.
They seem to have downloaded OK to a location not in the Legacy folder.

When trying to import the .rdb files from that location, I tried the US
first and twice now, it goes thru the whole process of importing, gets to
the 87% complete area and everything dies. I get a box saying Decompression
unsuccessful. Error 1003 occurred. Description: Error while compressing the
data.

I cannot clear the error box nor Legacy. I have to go to the Windows 2000
task manager and kill the programs one by one. Thus far I haven't lost any
data but it is scary that it hangs up like that.

Any suggestions? This is the Deluxe version. I downloaded the standard
version and used the unlock code to get into the deluxe version. I don't
have my CD or manual yet. Am leaving town Saturday, any answers
appreciated, maybe I can get this done before I leave.
thanks much,
Jerry Wakeen
