This has been a fascinating thread. Reading about people
listing themselves as a repository as below from Richard:

I could never list myself as a repository. I just can't see myself
as a record holder thing, such as a library. So in my Legacy database
I have the following four repositories.
John Bayle's CDROMs
John Bayle's Computer Files
John Bayle's File Folders
John Bayle's Personal Library
I also have other repositories for places that hold materials
that are not in my personal posession, such as the NARA center
in Boston (actually it's in Waltham)
