Hi Padda
The merging in Legacy is the very first feature that I ever knew about
LEGACY and that cements my love for the program permanently. I find that the
merge feature does not work well for me for unknown reason (s) but in my
earlier days with LEGACY I somehow imported a GEDCOM twice and that has
given me a ton of grief. So, knowing the source I just go to that source and
hit the show list button [ here is the fun part I listed both imports
differently so I am double wammied there] It is going ever so slowly but
having 68960 individuals in my data base makes it worthwhile to do the
merging slowly and methodically so that in the end I AM SATISFIED THAT WHAT
I HAVE IS WHAT I WANT.
I know this does little to help you but maybe it will help someone else
