... and worse still, when one swaps the info, the description and notes remain with the "new" alt.birth/death/etc, which rather spoils the ingredients, so "watch out!! Glad someone finally reported this -- never occurred to me!

Subject: [LegacyUG] Options - Swap with Death Information

When I enter someone in my database I usually start out with something like
"Died AFT 1871" depending on where the last piece of information that I have
on the person.

Later I might find them in the BMD so I make an "Alt. Death" entry for the
probably date of their death. I will then use Options - Swap With Death
Information to use this date but keep the other one. I often enter the age
at death in either "Description" or "Notes". If I enter this in Description
(I know if it is not the "correct" place but it is convenient) then when I
swap the dates over it is not transferred with the rest of the information.
